There are 3 stages to the Duke of Edinburgh award that tests a child’s skills in more advanced ways – Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Achieving the award, whether they achieve just the Bronze award or attain all three levels, will allow students to develop key skills that will serve them well in adult life. It is also known to be an award that will give your child a competitive edge over others if they apply for Higher Education or a future career.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award tests your child in a number of different environments, which will challenge their commitment, determination to do well, problem solving and hard work in groups.
Where can my child take on the DofE?
The Award and Charity is licensed out to many schools up and down the UK, just like at this Private School in London. It’s a great test of every student’s abilities.
If your child’s school does not provide the award, you could also explore local Scouts clubs or Girlguiding Associations. It is not exclusive to schools, it can be picked up at a youth group, even in Universities.
